SIT, LISTEN, WRITE! is a series of write-in workshops that aims to teach you craft in the morning and give you time to write in the afternoon in a fun and judgement free atmosphere.

Writing Craft: The Starting Line for the Emerging Writer

Our workshop leader is Professor Michael Spurgeon, published author, creative writing instructor at American River College and co-founder and organizer of Summerwords, an annual creative writing festival in Sacramento CA.
