Elections to the Capitol Crimes Board will soon be upon us!

As you know our Capitol Crimes Bylaws places term limits on Board positions, and we are currently missing several Board members. That means it is time to welcome new faces. Don't be shy! We're looking forward to your nominations!

Have you considered running for a position? Perhaps you want to nominate someone. Here is what you need to know:

  • August - Start Nominations due the end of the month. (Andrea Slavin has offered to Chair this committee.) Send nominations to Andrea at List the nominee's name and position for which she/he is nominated.
  • September - The Voting slate and ballot will be posted in the Members section of the website. All members are asked to vote.
  • October- Voting ends.
  • November - Election results will be announced at the Capitol Crimes May meeting.
  • December - The new Board is installed at the End of Term December 19, 2020 (Hopefully we can meet in real time and celebrate surviving & thriving this year!)

Joining the Board is an opportune way to network with fellow Capitol Crimes writers and readers and participate in planning and executing events. We need you now more than ever. For detailed description of the various board position responsibilities, click here.
